    Back on 2 wheels

Hello Everyone, Well its been 7 years without a bike ! Not anymore

Got myself a lovely 2008 CB on Friday, can't believe its 8 years old it's immaculate with a few nice extras added to it by the previous owner. Its only covered 3500 miles and I bought it from Cubo Moto in Huddersfield.
Maybe the previous owner is a member here ?

I'm 46 live on the Wirral (northwest U.K.) and work at the JLR factory in Halewood so I will also benefit from the free toll for bikes using the Mersey tunnel.

Don't worry!! I will be taking it easy whilst getting some mileage under my belt, but I am looking to getting about during the summer and travelling to places I've not been before. I'm looking forward to touring round the U.K. (b&b off course)

As for the bike, well I am over the moon with it, I've only put on about 40 miles so far and loving each mile more and more.

I've had a good look around the forum and there's plenty of good info on here that's already answered a couple of question but no doubt I will be asking for your wealth of knowledge on the Honda soon.

    Cheers and hi o/

    Phil

At last. A new member on the forum with a really nice coloured bike. ( The fastest colour of course. )

Take it easy on the right hand to start with Phil so as to avoid those first and second gear Wheelies.

Grats and welcome! Sure is perty. Fastest color though, pfft. Don't listen to Colvert. Black (Honda calls it grey) and gold's win that race every time.

Excellent! Have fun. I live about 5 miles away from Cubo moto and went to view 2 models out of 5 when I was buying mine!

I'm sure you'll continue to love the bike. Surely one of the most overlooked and underrated bikes on the road.

Welcome R3D !!! Enjoy the bike - Doser is right there - looks like a good spec Nitron shock - the forks look like they have stickers on which may possible mean it could be worth investigating if the forks have been modded (any paperwork you got with the bike : receipts etc.) - you could have a bit of a bonus there !
