    Greetings!

New guy to the forum - 42, living in SE London. I think I have had my bike for just over two years now - something like that.

I've been riding since 2001 and I've had a SV650s, Fazer 1000, RSVR Factory R, Blade (some fucker stole it), Sprint ST1050 (the worst bike out of the lot of them), and now my CB1000R (2012).

I've been on the outside looking in for some time, but now my bike doesn't have any brakes (or rather it does, but they come on and stay on) I thought I had best post something in maintenance as I can't take the train any longer! A week is enough to challenge anyone's sanity - mine included.

When it comes to bike maintenance I am an absolute numpty but I have a few mates who know their stuff so I'm looking for some pointers for them.

It's quite a decent bike when it works - the only mod I've made is a screen - that's it.

So - greetings to one and all, and hi!
