Australian in Austin Texas Saying Hello.

So picked up my CB1000r yesterday and love it. Great on freeways, twisties and just commuting around town. Two wheeled transport are my only forms of transport (CB + Bicycle).
Black, with ~ 5800miles on it.

    Already have a few questions.
Anyone know what size bolts hold in the fuel filler cap? (Mine has a tank bang holder I want to remove).

Bought it as a beginner bike, don't think it has enough power......
    Just kidding.
    Been riding for years.

to the site pal good choice

    http://www.bikebandit.com/oem-parts/...7880#sch946149

Go to Fuel and Air /OEM Parts / Fuel Tank

Looks like the bolts you are looking for are M4 x 21 (item 22 / part number 90074-MT4-000).

Only problem is it shows quantity "required per assembly" as 3 .... ???

I am at work so I can't check on the bike but there are definitely more.

    Hi Guys,
    Thanks for the warm welcome.

Awesome Steve, will look you up if I get up to Dallas on the bike.

I'm also considering doing some hard pannier sets for the bike. Still trying to work out exactly my use cases on that.

As it's my only form of transport, I was very pleased to see you can lock helmets to the bike, this will make life easier when shopping. Just gotta sort out a way to store the jacket too.

Only 3 bolts hold the filler cap on. The other 3 are short fakes.

That looks exactly like my bag mount + bike (it's black too). Nice One!

Any idea what bag it is for?
